ok, to reiterate.. enzo was lonely, tho unlike wall-e not as literally alone.. enzo was at the time the only child in his city, thus having nobody to play with much of the time.. enter AndrAIa who is a frienly but deadly companion, just as eve comes in and provides much needed companionship for wall-e, its similar but not exactly the same..

I have a fuzzy memory of some Miyasaki "sprites" from "Spirited Away" . . . were there any characters in that film anyone can remember that look very EVE-like? Or is my memory faulty? No faulty memory. It's the spirit of forest in Princess Mononoche, a little skeleton-like thing. I have a sinister feeling that this post belongs to "Wall-E reminds you of...". Well, forget about it. Fish lady??? A fish lady with Poseidon's trident?? Well, not a clue! No offense, but haven't even heard of ReBoot before! Canadian CGI-animated TV series...Canadian cartoons are so scarce in China... If for EVE reference, Kida seems a little better in resemblance. Both can be really fierce at certain time, and rooted with kind, loving heart. Still not the same, I love EVE better!

Canadian CGI-animated TV series...Canadian cartoons are so scarce in China... indeed. you'd have to understand the show reboot and the character.. AndrAIa (the AI is a deliberate mispelling in reference to her being a being of artificial intelligence) for the uninitiated AndrAIa's personality reminds me of eve's.. both quite friendly and lighthearted, but when threatened would be a formidable foe

En...quite complex, this AndrAIa's personality may refer to EVE's personality after she fully-developed it in the later part of the film.

actually, in reboot, when AndrAIa is first introduced she is a child, and like eve fires at and nearly hits wall-e.. nearly attacks enzo andraia develops over time in the show as does eve anyhew its easier to explain to those who know reboot

on another note, am I the only one who perhaps on seeing the light bulb light in eve's hand think of Fester Adams lighting the light bulb in his mouth at the end of the first adam's family movie?

Have anyone noticed that EVE's vision is totally unaffected by her eyes expression? She has a whole-round vision all the time, formed by the shape of her L.C.D screen.
So, is it possible to assume that EVE have no real control over her expression? Thus she can never intentionally fake an expression?
For she cannot actually see her own expressions (When we frown or stare our vision is twisted), can we say that she changed her eye-shape sub-consciously?

I think she can "see" her expression, in the way that machines can "see" all their parts and what they're doing, she simply doesn't see it through her eye "window".

Maybe she knows what expression she is making by the change in light. It gets dim when she closes her eyes, etc.
Something random that I want to know is can robots feel? Like...if you are a robot and I poke you, will it hurt?

My guess would be that it wouldn't hurt, but they could feel it, I'm sure robots as advanced as EVE, for example, have some kind of sensors on their bodies.
