I have combined another love (Aerosmith) with WALL-E.
Different parts work for different situations, part for the humans, part for WALL-E and EVE.

I forgot one! The first song I ever associated with Wall-E: Yours to Hold, by Skillet. With the exception of one line ("Your hair always hiding your face...") this song fits Wall-E's feelings about Eve to a dime.
Plus, it's just a beautiful song. I personally think it's Skillet's best song.

Okay, so it was inspired by WALL-E so not a hard match, but the song's been running through my head all day after making that video and putting it on a CD. Thought some people that might not check the fan section might get a chance to see it here too.

I love that song so much. I wish he would record it professionally so we'd have a proper version of it. the thing I love about the lyrics is that anyone can sing it for someone else. When it comes to humans singing it about humans, it's poetry, but when it comes to Wall-E and Eve it's literal.

Yes, I was thinking just today how nice a professional recording would be, especially since after burning it to CD and listening to it in the car it really doesn't feel so different from professional music.

"At the Beginning" by Richard Marx and Donna Lewis, most definitely!
LYRICS: We were strangers starting out on our journey Never dreaming what we'd have to go through Now here we are and I'm suddenly standing At the beginning with you
No one told me I was going to find you Unexpected what you did to my heart When I lost hope you were there to remind me This is the start
And Life is a road and I want to keep going Love is a river I want to keep flowing Life is a road now and forever A Wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning I'll be there when the storm is through In the end I wanna be standing At the beginning with you
We were strangers on a crazy adventure Never dreaming how our dreams would come true Now here we stand unafraid of the future At the beginning with you
And Life is a road and I want to keep going Love is a river I want to keep flowing Life is a road now and forever A Wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning I'll be there when the storm is through In the end I wanna be standing At the beginning with you
I knew there was somebody somewhere Like me alone in the dark I know that my dream will live on I've been waiting so long Nothing's gonna tear us apart
And Life is a road and I want to keep going Love is a river I want to keep flowing Life is a road now and forever A Wonderful journey
I'll be there when the world stops turning I'll be there when the storm is through In the end I wanna be standing At the beginning with you In the end I wanna be standing at the beginning with you

That song...was practically MADE for Wall-E and Eve. Kudos to you on a perfect fit! Well, if songs written specifically for Wall-E count, there's also "The Wall-E Song (Wall-E Fell in Love)". It's a good song, and more professionally recorded than "Eve" (not saying it's better or worse! I love both). I was listening to songs on my computer, wondering if any of them could fit the lesser-appreciated of my two favorite characters, when I started "It Ends Tonight", by The All-American Rejects. To me, this song fits Auto quite well. The verse that caught my attention in particular was: "Now I'm on my own side It's better than being on your side It's my fault when you're blind It's better that I see it through your eyes All these thoughts locked inside Now you're the first to know..." Aside from that, when taken out of context and altered slightly, "The Oogie Boogie Song" from Nightmare Before Christmas makes me think of Auto mockingly threatening Wall-E. But I'm probably the only one who would get an idea like that ;D

Woah, I didn't know about "WALL-E Fell In Love", you should totally post that in the Fan section. it's a little cheesier/popier, but it reminds me a lot of the Randy Newman songs from Monsters Inc.

I think I might have started to listen to that song, but I didn't like it. But I might be thinking of a different song. I have to download it first and see.
There's also You Belong To Me by Jason Wade of Lifehouse.
See the pyramids around the Nile Watch the sun rise From the tropic isle Just remember darling All the while You belong to me See the market place In old Algiers Send me photographs and souvenirs Just remember When a dream appears You belong to me
And I'll be so alone without you Maybe you'll be lonesome too
Fly the ocean In a silver plane See the jungle When it's wet with rain Just remember till You're home again You belong to me
Oh I'll be so alone without you Maybe you'll be lonesome too
Fly the ocean In a silver plane See the jungle When it's wet with rain Just remember till You're home again You belong to me
It's just one of those mellow beautiful songs that makes you think of Wall-E and Eve just sitting together, holding hands, watching the sunset...

Save Me From Myself, by Christina Aguilera. It's such a beautiful, soft song, that to me, sounds like Eve awakening to life and love.
It's not so easy loving me It gets so complicated All the things you gotta be Everything's changing But you're the truth I'm amazed by all your patience Everything I put you through
when I'm about to fall Somehow you're always waiting with Your open arms to catch me You're gonna save me from myself From myself, yes You're gonna save me from myself
My love is tainted by your touch Well some guys have shown me aces But you've got that royal flush I know it's crazy everyday Well tomorrow may be shaky But you never turn away
Don't ask me why I'm crying 'Cause when I start to crumble You know how to keep me smiling You always save me from myself From myself, myself You're gonna save me from myself
I know it's hard, it's hard But you've broken all my walls You've been my strength, so strong And don't ask me why I love you
It's obvious your tenderness Is what I need to make me A better woman to myself To myself, myself You're gonna save me from myself

"Love Song" from AC/DC. I know... "How in bloody hell do you connect AC/DC, one of the dirtiest, nastiest rock bands in the world, with WALL-E?" Well, you'd be surprised after hearing this one...
I can tell by the look in your eye I can tell by the way you sigh That you know I've been thinking of you And you know what I want to do
Oh Jean, Oh Jean Oh Jean, Oh Jean
When you smile I see stars in the sky When you smile I see sunrise And I know you've been thinking of me And I know how you want it to be
Oh Jean, Oh Jean Oh Jean, Oh Jean
I can tell by the things you say I can tell that you know the way And I know what you want me to do Oh, I've got hearts and flowers for you
If you leave me you'll make me cry When I think of you saying goodbye Oh the sky turns to a deeper blue That's, that's how I'd feel if I lost you
Jean, Oh Jean Don't go and leave me 'Cause I love, I love you, I love you, don't leave me It would make me cry, if you said goodbye Don't go away Jean, don't you leave baby baby
Just replace "Oh Jean" with "Oh EVE," and there ya go.

There's a lot of Ayreon's songs that remind me of WALL-E. The first and main is 'Back On Planet Earth': lyrics here: www.arjenlucassen.com/ayreon/ay_lyrics/ay_lyrics_back.htmlIt's about Captain, really! The next is 'My House On Mars' - www.arjenlucassen.com/ayreon/ay_lyrics/ay_lyrics_house.htmlIt's a prologue to 'The Universal Migrator', and tells about Earth, which became unhabitable in 2084, and about some survived people, who escaped... to Mars. And entire 'Flight Of The Migrator' album reminds me of WALL-E's space adventure on spaceship, when he saw Sun, Saturn, far galaxies... And then, 'Listen To The Waves': www.arjenlucassen.com/ayreon/ay_lyrics/ay_lyrics_listen.htmlA line from 'Age Of Shadows' describes WALL-E very well, IHMO: " Longing... hoping... waiting... for no one..." 'Day Thirteen: Sign' reminds me of WALL-E's loss of memory at the end of the movie, and EVE's suffering. Or rather, these lines: And 'Day Eleven: Love' reminds me of WALL-E too. How he tried to attract EVE's attention... www.arjenlucassen.com/ayreon/ay_lyrics/ay_lyrics_love.htmluff... and this is not all...
