Hehe, I tried to work Whole New World into my head as a WALL-E related song, because it's my favorite Disney song ever (long story behind that one, but being a hopeless romantic doesn't hurt). It does kinda work ("want to share this whole new world with you"), just thinking about the end of the film.

Oh, yeah *sniff* . . . "Whole New World" is my favorite Disney ballad too. It's the only scene in the Eisner-era films in which I actually teared up. And if I can mentally associate it with WALL-E, it'll have a whole new place in my heart . . . gotta search my song collection to find it . . .

"Love Survives" (Sorry, I don't know who sings it) Particularly the lyrics "The magic made us who we are" and "Take my hand/you made me understand"
lol I'm just finding tons of songs and going "WALL-E!" for like, half of them...I can't help it!

Yes, this fast becoming one my favorite threads . . . I've created a new "album" on my MP3 player called "WALL-E's Jukebox" and adding songs as people mention them . . . ;D

Hehe, I have a habit of listening to song and trying to connect it to a fandom. I get quite a few ideas for AMV/MMVs that way. Strangers Like Me by Phil CollinsThis song makes me think of Wall-E looking at all of his treasures and trying to understand people through them. And, of course there's Wall-Eve ("Every gesture, every move that she makes, makes me feel like never before..."). It just fits Wall-E's curious nature perfectly! You'll Be in My Heart by Phil Collins"Why can't they understand the way we feel? They just dont trust what they can't explain I know we're different but deep inside us We're not that different at all." This phrase in particular jumps out at me. You'll Be in My Heart is a beautiful song and feels like it really describes the strong connection Wall-E and Eve share. Satellite by SmashmouthI swear...this song was WRITTEN for Wall-E. It has this sort of technological romantic feel to it that fits Wall-E's love for Eve perfectly! I mean, think of the lines: "I see you floating by me...I see a beautiful face that's pointed up towards the smog." Sounds like the scene when he first laid eyes on Eve to me. Unlimited by Aikawa NanaseHehe, I'm a little of an anime dork (it's starting to wear off, as it's getting harder and harder to find actually good ones), but upon hearing this song on Samurai Seven and reading its translation, I realized it fit Wall-E and Eve's romance very nicely. Lastly (for now )... Tell Me Lies by Natalie ColeI love the movie Cats Don't Dance, and am especially fond of Sawyer's solo Tell Me Lies. Upon listening to this song again, I realized this song reminded me of Eve. It might be a little bit of a stretch, but if Eve could sing, I bet she'd grab an umbrella and bust out into this memorable solo.

OMG . . . a "Cats Don't Dance" fan . . . I didn't think there were any in the world . . . that film was SO fantastic . . .
"Tell Me Lies" is one of most beautiful songs I've ever heard in an animated film. I start crying just thinking about it.

"You're Still You" - Josh Groban
Some of the lyrics sound like things WALL-E would say to EVE, and other lyrics sound like things EVE would say to WALL-E. These parts in particular jumped out at me...
WALL-E to EVE
Through the darkness I can see your light And you will always shine And I can feel your heart in mine Your face I've memorized I idolize just you
EVE to WALL-E
And after all is said and done You're still you After all You're still you
WALL-E to EVE
And in this cruel and lonely world I found one love You're still you After all You're still you

Part of Little Mermaid (Broadway's) "If Only (Quartet)" really makes me think of WALL-E's thoughts about EVE.
"If only you could know The things I long to say If only I could tell you What I wish I could convey It's in my every glance My heart's an open book You'd see it all at once If only you would look.
If only you could glimpse The feeling that I feel If only you would notice What I'm dying to reveal The dreams I can't declare The needs I can't deny You'd understand them all If only you would try"

Glad we're keeping the other one from going off topic, haha.
Anywho, does anyone know any good versions of that one? I don't like any I've heard including the original.
