What if there was a WALL-E 2. What do You think it would be about.

I really don't know what they could do with it. All that I would want to see in the sequel was all in the credits.

I've thought of one viable sequel opportunity, actually, although I'm still not keen on them doing one. That idea is that what we saw in the credits was all The Axiom crew and passengers, none of the other ships. I dunno what the main "problem" would be that they would have to face, but if those ships came back, or even if they didn't come back and they sent WALL-E and EVE to find them, we could have something interesting. I don't want them to do it unless they could make it at least half as brilliant as the first, though.

So you are saying there was more than the one ship 'The Axiom'?

There was definitely more than one ship, remember the part near the beginning, where they showed a bunch of ships taking off? It says "BNL Starliners leaving each day". Then it goes on to talk about the crown jewel, The Axiom.

I thought that that meant that they would join up with the axiom and everyone would meet up there.

I don't think it did, I didn't see anything that said that anyway. So far I've heard everyone else pretty much agree that there are other ships out there. And there pretty much have to be, anyway, since all we saw were Middle Class Americans on The Axiom.

Well then, would they all need plants then? One in each ship? Or would a positive in the Axiom cause them all to come back as well?

I think if no one goes to get them, they'd probably all need plants, but that would be my scenario for the sequel. The rest of the ships are no longer sending out EVE's, therefore aren't receiving samples, and they have to mount an expedition to save them. It could also tie into the theme of the humans growing as well, because now that they've saved themselves, they have to learn to save their brothers and sisters too.

Huh, that is a very interesting idea. They would probably have to wait a while to get more plants tho.

It's a cool idea. I'm not sure if I'd want a sequel, but I trust Pixar to do something great like they did for Toy Story 2. Maybe someone could work it into Fan Fic, though.

I might be the only person who isn't screaming sequel. Wall-E was one of those special movies that came along and all of my expectations were fulfilled.
But, if there was to be a sequel, I would to see how the residents of Earth are/were able to rebuild Earth.

Actually, I think you're probably part of the majority who is going "ick no!" at the sequel prospects. I've only seen the sequel talk come up a few times, and it's usually mostly people saying that a sequel wouldn't be a good idea. Stanton's already pretty much squashed anyone who was hoping for a sequel's hopes, though, so all's well whatever side of the fence you're on. I can entertain the idea and think of some good ideas, but like Bartle-B said, everything that needs to be told was told during the credits sequence.

I don't mind if Pixar does a sequel, (which we wouldn't see for at least 5 years anyway), but hope to God the marketing machine at Disney doesn't throw together some crappy saturday morning Wall-E cartoon that cheapens,if not destroys, the legacy of the movie version of the Wall-E characters that we know and love.

I don't think that'll happen, but I will join you in hoping not, just in case. :x
