Howdy everyone! Has anyone had the chance to play the video game based on the movie? I'm debating on whether to buy it. I picked up Iron Man and was extremely disappointed with it. Any input is appreciated.

I've heard that, as with most movie games, it was pretty bad and they just shoved it out the door in time for the movie without really polishing it any. You can see lots of videos of it on YouTube that don't make it look too bad, but the reviews are atrocious.

I've noticed that a lot with the movie-tie-in games. I was hoping that Wall*E might have been an exception. *Sigh*

this reminds me of when they released the "toy story 2" game way back in 2000. i absolutely loved that game. but at the time, i guess games like that weren't expected to be outstanding. i personally wouldn't give it the time of day dawg, unless, you look over a few reviews of it first. that way you'll at least have an idea of whether or not it's worth checking out.

I tried a demo of Wall-E on the DS, it was fun but not fun enough to warrant a purchase.

Why Do They Have A Wall*E Game? Because popular movies often get video games when it makes sense for them to. Anyway, I tried the demo on the PC. It was pretty fun, and I'd download it for free, but I'd never spend money on it.

Looks like any ordinary second-rate licensed game from what I've seen. Not interested at all.
I love WALL-E, but I also love good video games, and I'm not wasting my time or money on a half-hearted effort like that.

Yep, I dunno why they can't manage to make good movie tie-ins anymore. They worked on the WALL-E film for 4 years, it's hard to imagine why they couldn't have found a good company to make a good game in that time.

Well, everyone has their own opinion, in a way, the game appeals to me, and I'd like to own it, for a good price.

I love this movie so much I decided to actually start playing the game, and I never play movie games. I haven't really started yet, but I was lucky and found a copy for download, so I didn't have to spend money on it, and the PC version looks to be the most complete by far.

I bought it, but haven't had much time to play it because I'm hanging out here so much. ;D
I have no skill at all and no knowledge of what makes a "good" or a "bad" game in the gaming world, but I'm enjoying it. I just really love feeling like I'm "in" WALL-E's life and experiencing things from his POV.

Well, I've played a lot of it today, and I must say compared to most movie games, this one is one of the few "decent" ones. It definitely has major flaws, such as the camera and controls being annoying on certain stages, but overall it's a simple, fun game.
