I heard "Wall-e was too ugly" And "THEY ALMOST KILLED THE BUG LIKE 5 TIMES!" and "WALL-E ALMOST GOT SHOT!" Haha, they hate WALL-E because he almost got shot? Did they want him to actually get shot? I guess you're right to some degree. If Eve had been a new model though, it would leave me to wonder if there were previous outdated Eve probes. Also, if Eve isn't new, which is more likely because the Eve pictured in the 700 year old Operation Manual lookes exactly like her, is it the first time they've sent one to earth in the movie? Because if she's been coming down annually or so for 700 years, why hasn't WALL-E noticed her ? And I probably just hijacked this topic off course, but it boggles my mind!

Well think about how big the earth is for a second... The chances of her meeting wall-e in new york is next to non (at least i think it was new york ) Theres canada, china, brazil, hawaii, so many places she could land and she covers only a very small area too

I guess they saw Wall-e to see him get hurt. They must've really enjoyed his eye coming out and being crushed in that machine.

It probably would have been different EVE probes too, and not just Probe 1 (our Eve). Ofcourse WALL-E wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between the other EVEs anyway... at least I think not...

Wow, this topic really exploded today...
I wish I had been able to read the review that Norwesterner posted, but I kept getting an error message.

I had this conversation with the computer tech guy today....
Him: *Sees my desktop background* So did you see the movie? Me: Yep! Him: Yeah....it was kinda cute....but the environmental stuff was kinda....don't eat junk food and pollute the planet or we'll all end up in space!! Me:...yeah....
The funny thing is, they asked us to rate how helpful the computer tech people were, and I almost took a point or two off for his WALL-E comments....

Wow . . . Sounds like he missed his true calling . . . a career in reviewing films . . . I love that it almost affected his "helpfulness" rating!

I was going to post a link to this youtube video where this guy said things like "WALL-E's some stupid robot who crushes garbage and listens to a gay song all day long. It's one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen, and if you haven't seen it....just don't." But he appears to have removed it. Maybe he likes it He probably saw the movie for the first time after he posted the video and then deleted it because he changed his mind...

There was no dialogue for the first half hour! It was so boring! A movie can't be interesting without dialogue for that long! My older sister feels that way. Now, it's time for reasons! Robots can't have consciousness! I want my fiction to be realistic! WALL-E is centuries and centuries old, while Eve is a new model! PEDOPHILIA! There were not enough fart jokes and pop culture references! Let's go see Kung Fu Panda! Everything in this movie can be done in live-action with animatronics and fat suits and space ship models! I want Disney to spend way more money than they should have to! And I don't care that it's easier to make the robots look alive in animation! This movie didn't have cheesey morals, things that kids can relate to, and over-the-top musical numbers! High School Musical is soooo superior! This movie is too scary for our younger crowd! It's post-apocalyptic, and the Earth is covered in trash! I'm taking my children to Space Chimps, or The Dark Knight!

I hate it when people say that, That wall-e is way older then eve.. they are the exact same age! She was made the same time wall-e was made

1. Pixar needs to take a lesson from Dreamworks. | Aug 1, 2008 5:39 am PT It seems like every time i go to see a Pixar movie i get that mushy feeling, but i'm not really entertained. Dreamworks seems to be better at creating movies that have romance or friendships while not shoving it in your face for the entire movie. For some reason, every time i go to see a new Pixar movie i can't help but think "oh great, another installment of Toy Story." First it was Toy Story under the sea, now its Toy Story in space. What's next Pixar? Toy Story featuring Rob Schneider? Found this on google
