I made a video with gdbostrom's excellent song, "EVE". It was a labor of love that I am quite proud of, so I'd appreciate it if everyone watched and rated it, and any comments left on YouTube, here, or both would be greatly appreciated as well. www.youtube.com/watch?v=ud5cZlugxCo

LOVE it. Fantastic job. I hope the fella who wrote it has a look at it too -- I'm sure he'd appreciate what a good interpretation of his song it is.

I added it as a video response to his vid, so here's hoping. It'd be great if he enjoys it, but I'm just happy he posted his mp3 so I had the opportunity to make it.

The lyrics in the verses in that song are actually pretty brilliant; I like the contrast he makes. Your visual interpretation was excellent, wonderful editing job, nice transitioning (I like the one at :48). I watched it twice!

Awesome!!!!! I love it! I would comment on it on youtube, but youtube is blocked. I had to download the video straight from the link to see it.

This is wonderful! You have a great talent for editing!
Also, it's nice to hear a song inspired by WALL-E that is miles better than any of the songs on that companion soundtrack that they came out with.

This is wonderful! You have a great talent for editing! Thanks, that means a lot. I agree. I've actually just got around to really sitting down and listening to two of the less "kiddie" songs on that inspired by album, "I C" and "Didn't You See the Movie?" but both are pretty blah in comparison.

"gdbostrom
Awesome video! You can't imagine how flattered I am to see a video like this based on my song. Thanks!"

This was great! I have to admit, when I saw your comment on his vid stating you'd made a vid to it, I went, "Darn! Someone beat me to it!"
I'd been planning an MV based on this song since I first heard it...oh well.
I commented on Youtube, my username there is BeaverAru.

Thanks Castoro! Feel free to make your own, I won't take it personally unless it's better than mine. j/k but seriously there's no reason there can't be two vids with this song out there.

Oh, I had a quesiton, though, where did I repeat clips? There are clips from the same scene at different moments within the scene, but none of the exact same clips as far as I can tell.

Whoa, weird...maybe I'm thinking of a different MV (I commented quite a while after I'd watched it...long story). I can't find what I was thinking of. So, yeah, it's perfect

Hehe, I wouldn't call it perfect, but thanks for watching and commenting (and liking it). I'm happy to take constructive criticism but I couldn't figure out what repeated clips you were talking about, just wanted to make sure I wasn't going senile.

Way to go, MD!! You've got a real knack for editing! Those scenes fit the song (which is ALSO fantastic) perfectly. Good collab, boys!
