Rate Finding Nemo. I've only seen it in pieces, so I can't rate it as a whole.

Good film. Only complaint I have is that there were too many secondary characters so none of them got enough screentime so I could truly appreciate their personalities.

Heh, this is where I'm gonna get into trouble with you guys if I'm not careful...after that conversation about when 10s should be given. I love this movie, and until WALL-E came along it was my favorite Pixar film. I personally don't find any real flaws with it...which makes it sound like I should give it a 10. However, I don't think it's on the same level as WALL-E, which DEFINITELY deserves a 10. So does that mean I should give Nemo a 9? Well, whatever...I'm going to let personal bias enter the field, so I'll round up. This is the only non-WALL-E Pixar movie I'll do this with, though.

I'd say 9. Nemo is a masterpiece, it really is. The moment Marlin realizes his whole family is dead still gives me chills and pulls at my heartstrings, even after seeing this film as many times as I have. Heck, Marlin himself is a fascinating character (my favorite in the movie, my second being Dory) and a highly unlikely canidate for a protagonist: he's older, cowardly, and insecure. His development over the course of the film is just amazing.
But I wasn't a fan of Nemo himself. He just irked me for reasons I don't know. The tank scenes, to me, felt slower and less interesting than the scenes with Marlin and Dory. So I always skip them when I watch Nemo. They aren't bad, per se, just not my favorites.
So, I'd say Nemo is awesome but not perfect.

Khodhum, I wondered the same thing. But I finally decided that I wouldn't compare the film against WALL-E (or any other film); I would just rate the film by how well it did the job it meant to do.
