Are these all just *fan art*? They seem like they should've/could've been professionally published in some official source.

No, no -- not fan art at all. They're drawings from one of the junior novelizations. Should I have put this thread in a different area?

Hmm, well, here's fine, but maybe in "WALL-E Discussion" would work better. My bad on not reading the opening post. I'd clicked the link in a new tab and didn't remember what post it came from. There's are really great, nonetheless!

These are great! Thanks for posting them!
Are there any more pictures from the novelization?

Nope, I scanned every one.
There's actually two novelizations. The other one just has stills from the movie.

That's kind of odd that all of the pictures are from towards the end of the movie...
I read somewhere that the books are at a 4th-6th grade reading level. How much detail does it go into?

You might want to make sure you've seen page 1 of this thread . . . I'm wondering if you're only seeing the last page?
This one is called "A Robot's Tale" and is a "Stepping Stones" book according to Random House's classifications. I'd say, yeah, probably around 4th, 5th grade. The official "Junior Novelization" sounds more like 6th, 7th grade.
Detail kinda depends on the scene. But the interesting thing is that the 4/5th grade one sometimes feels a little closer to the true story because there is less description and everything is a little more compact. The Junior Novelization sometimes reads like a literal retelling of the story which can get a bit cumbersome.
Both of them call GO-4 "Gopher" though. I've noticed a few of the kids' books do that and it's really irritating.
