You really don't know how much it means to me to have really knowledgeable and dedicated WALL-E fans give me such positive reactions. I really wasn't sure what kind of reaction I would get, so I really appreciate the kind words. The positive comments I received here encouraged me to go ahead and put it up on www.fanfiction.net/ where I've also gotten very kind reviews. I'm glad now I took the plunge.

Absolutely, if you ever need us to review anything else pre-publication, feel free to post it here as well. I love reading *good* Fan Fic, and you may or may not know how rare it is to find something of the level of quality you presented. Thanks again for sharing, I hope you continue to get positive feedback.

So I finally got a chance to read this. It's so well done, and you've got a great writing style. I've read most of the WALL-E fanfics out there, and this is easily one of the best ones I've read. It's clear that you really thought this story out before writing it.
I completely agree. Many of the WALL-E stories I've read sound as though the authors were making up events on the spot as their stories progressed, and generally their descriptions and writing styles are very basic and bland (certainly not all fanfics are like this, but a good number of them are). Not to mention the fact that several of them have numerous grammatical and spelling errors. Yours was a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, and I really don't like the cross-over stuff that much which seems to be a constant theme, especially at fanfiction.net. It's irritating -- even I'm familiar with both worlds. It just feels -- I don't know -- wrong somehow. Like it demeans both worlds. Just me, but I purposely don't read anything that says "crossover."

I don't like reading crossover fics either, for the same reasons you don't read them.
