WALL-E Wins at The National Movie Awards

Our favorite little robot beat out Kung Fu Panda, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and The Golden Compass in this category of the award show that lets the people of England vote for their favorite films of the year. Other winners include Mamma Mia! for Best Musical, The Dark Knight for Best Superhero Movie, and Juno for Best Comedy.

Pixar also grabbed the Special Recognition Award for all of its fine achievements throughout the years.

Ah . . . the sweet sound of the awards starting to roll in . . . this is going to be so great watching them pile up for the next year or so . . . and seeing the well-deserved credit going to Stanton and Co.
