That's right. Here is the place to express either your undying devotion or your scathing hatred for the studio run by Jefferey Katzenberg. Psst, they're Pixar's rivals, in case you didn't know. Some of their films include Antz, Shrek/2, Madagascar, Shark Tale, Bee Movie, Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Over The Hedge, Kung Fu Panda, and the upcoming Madagascar 2.
I haven't seen KFP yet, and Wallace & Gromit is always fun, but overall there is only one film of theirs that a find to be "Pixar-esque" in its quality storytelling, and that's Over The Hedge.

I enjoyed the Shrek films and Kung Fu Panda, that's all I can think of that I enjoyed from them.

I enjoyed the Wallace and Gromit: Curse of the Were Rabbit (Aardman), and I agree that Over the Hedge was very Pixaresque and actually enjoyed that one also I remember Antz! From the preview, I already thought it was stupid, to be honest.

Hmm, good point, maybe the Aardman films shouldn't officially be considered Dreamworks Studios, since they were not involved in the creative process. Oh well, we can still talk about them here, I say it's okay. I once watched Antz and A Bug's Life back-to-back. Major Deja Vu.

I saw Bug's Life first. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with Antz when I saw it. It's just not in the same league.

My opinion on each of their films:
Antz--I haven't seen that movie in, like, forever. I remember being disturbed by various scenes, such as the mosquito's (I think it was a mosquito...) wife being killed and the ant soldier losing his head.
Shrek--Great movie. I'd have to call this one of their best films. Funny, but moving at certain points (the Hallelujah sequence...absolutely beautiful).
Shrek 2--Not on par with the first, but still pretty good. I was actually very fond of the king, to tell you the truth. That's right, my favorite character in that movie wasn't Puss, it was the king.
Shrek 3--...no. Just...no...
Shark Tale--...make...it...stop. Nemo beat this one, hands down and then some.
Bee Movie--Never seen it.
Wallace and Gromit: CotWR--LOVE it! I was raised on Wallace and Gromit's wacky misadventures, so I loved this more than others did. This was a cute film and I'm so hoping there will be another, as indicated in the special features.
Over the Hedge--This one actually bored me. I didn't really care for it.
Madagascar--Didn't care for it. Except for a few jokes while the group was building the Statue of Liberty, especially, "Shut up, Spaulding!" (that one still cracks me up ;D )
Kung Fu Panda--My favorite of their movies thusfar. The visuals were incredible and I was shocked to find NO low or potty humor. At all. I was a big fan of Shifu, finding him to be their most original and interesting concepts for a character to date. Heck, I even liked Po. He was not only funny, but realistic: when he realized how hard it would be, he ran like heck, like any sane person would. My only real problem with this film was the final battle with Ty Lung. In typical kid movie fashion, all the problems were magically fixed and Po was instantly all-powerful. It made me quite angry, particularly after the spectacular and dramatic Shifu vs. Ty Lung showdown.
Yeah, I'm done now...

Loved that line.
Just a few I personally loved and I haven't heard anyone mention. Opinions on . . . ?
"Chicken Run" (Aardman) "Flushed Away" (Aardman character design) "Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmarron" (cel animation)
"Over the Hedge" . . . not bad. Not as funny as the comic strip, but tolerable.
I liked "Curse of the Were-Rabbit" and the above movies. That's all I can say positive for DreamWorks' animation.

I didn't care too much for Flushed Away (it wasn't bad, per se, just not my thing). Spirit was beautiful!
Oh, oh, what about Prince of Egypt. Can you say masterpiece? I stand corrected, PoE is their best film thusfar. I'm not even religious and I'm in love with that movie.

Hmmmm . . . "Prince of Egypt" was one of those films that I just couldn't enjoy because I kept seeing all the inaccuracies in comparison to the actual Biblical account. I know that's not fair, but it just kept distracting me. I can usually overlook historical inaccuracies in a movie but for some reason with this one, I couldn't. Maybe because I couldn't understand why they didn't just stick to the real story which is actually very exciting already. If they had, I think this film would have become on of my favorite films of all time.
Also, at the time I knew there was a huge fight over the release date with Pixar and I was starting to feel sorry for how Katzenberg was treating Lasseter, so that kind of affected my feelings too.

I enjoyed Kung Fu Panda and am definitely getting the DVD. The first two Shreks were good, but they haven't aged as well as any of Pixar's films. All their other CGI productions have ranged from average to horrible.
I saw The Road to El Dorado in theatres back in 2000 and I liked it then, but I haven't rewatched it since. I'm interested in watching more of their earlier 2-D productions like The Prince of Egypt or Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron.
I LOVED Chicken Run and The Curse of the Were-Rabbit(yet to see Flushed Away), but I associate them with Aardman rather than DW.

I know that's not fair, but it just kept distracting me. You are absolutely right. When I watched the movie, I felt like it was just an animated version of Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments, with all the theatrical elements added to make it "movie status". However, I'm not completely booing the film. I thought it was a pretty well made film. I especially enjoyed the original song When You Believe, and I tought the vocal harmonies on that were just superb!
