Isn't the intergalactic guide cool???
Quick question, what didn't you like about the WALL-E die cast figure?

It is indeed! I had no idea such a cool thing was out there. Funny thing about the little kids cup/bowl set was I stopped dead in my tracks in the Wal-Mart isle just because I saw something with "WALL-E" on it. When I turned to see what it was I was disappointed.

Yeah, that happens to me all the time. Double-takes in Wal-Mart over junk. Such a disappointment.

I just include it a second time to illustrate how much I would've went home with had I not stopped myself. They aren't as perfect as the U-Repair and Transforming ones, but they're still nice.

Main thing about them is that WALL-E's arms don't extend. They do rotate back to the tires, and the wrists rotate, as does the head (which is posable as well). It has an opening front and a "trash cube" (although the trash cube is way too small, but I guess that's so it'd easily fit in the compartment).
M-O's pretty basic, he has a head that extends and retracts, and his little roller goes up and down.
EVE's nice too, but nowhere near as good as her U-Repair. Her compartment doesn't open, but her arms do extend as does her head, meaning you can have her as "EVE" or in egg shape (althoug her eyes don't change).

It wasn't too bad, just 7.50 a piece for the figurines and ended up being about 20 for the two books.

MidgardDragon, are you talking about the 3-inch posable "Old" (with a few streaks of rust paint added) or "New" WALL•E and EVE figures when you refer to "diecast"?
As I'm not seeing anything else on Amazon or elsewhere that matches your description.

It definitely has rust paint, though.

Okay, having looked at the link you provided, as well as at Amazon, and even the Disney Store online — the diecast figures you've bought appear to be brand new "second generation" figures that for some reason neither Amazon nor Disney Shopping Online are yet featuring!
I've got the "Old" WALL•E 3-inch figure from Amazon (and of course the mini 3-inch EVE figure to keep him company!) My "Old" WALL•E's chest compartment does not open, and appears to have smaller claws/hands than your new model figure does.
It looks like the WALL•E merchandise offerings are gearing up here, and getting more diverse and sophisticated! I think I'll hold off here for a bit, and see what else comes out.

Yeah, they did indeed say they just got those in today. There other "new" offering were little "remote control" figurines. They're tiny and sit on a base that has two little "joysticks". I didn't try them out, but I imagine they must just dance around as you control them or something.
