My friend Trenton. He hates all Pixar movies (besides Toy Story and Monsters Inc.) and said it would be really stupid because he hated Finding Nemo and Cars. He said the storyline was gay just because he read my book which dosen't even tell 1/2 the story.

My boyfriend, sadly, doesn't much care for Wall-E. He was alright with it at first, but due to far too much advertisement where he lives, he began to heavily dislike it, refusing to go see it because he was convinced he'd hate it. But because I like it so much, he finally cracked and watched it. And didn't like it. His loss, I suppose  We're plannin' to sit down and watch the DVD when it comes out (or rather, I told him I wanted him to watch it with me), so I hope he likes it more if he watches it with me. |

Sadly, I know of at least one vehemently anti-WALL-E person, but they are an online acquaintance that I now consider a troll. They said WALL-E was too kiddie and all it was was "kiddie slapstick". I think they didn't watch the movie, and just started saying it to tick me off, personally, because you have to either be really dumb or have fallen asleep to believe that.

Wow... I don't now that there are people who hates Wall-E because everybody likes it. Weird... I don't know anyone who hate Wall-E... But I know some people who didn't 'get it'.

No, I don't know anyone personally. Or at least no one has had the courage to say anything bad to me. ;D I pack a mean punch when people tell me they hated a movie I loved and can't give me a decent reason.

Yeah, this guy is definitely one who just tries too hard to be cool. His favorite past-time is "pwning n00bs" on Halo. And he seems to think I'm somehow defective because I'm still in college at 25...but of course when you look at statistics for the US for colleges online that's actually the average age of students. He's the type that thinks if you're not like him there's something wrong with you. |

There's nothing wrong with being in college at that age...I'm right behind you at 24. It's not so easy to graduate in 4 years like everyone says.
And no, I don't personally know anyone who hates WALL-E.

I don't really know anyone who hates WALL-E. Around here, it's more of just slipped people's minds as "Last Summer's Movie". It's pretty much somewhat forgotten |

Hey Castoro Chiaro, I've had about the same problem as you, but switch genders. I took an on again/off again girlfriend to see it, and (unbelievably to me) she dismissed it as an animated kids film! And yet she says she likes romances. I just don't get that! But her favorite romance is GONE WITH THE WIND, which to me is the most dysfunctional, back-stabbing soap opera "romance" ever to be put on film. So like you said though, her loss! I am grateful to the WALL•E movie though for finally helping me to conclude I wasn't right for her, nor she for me! I'm now using WALL•E actually as something of a litmus test these days in meeting and screening potential girlfriends (mostly online unfortunately, as I live in a rural area and there just aren't good places around here for me to meet anyone.) I've mentioned the film prominently in my online profiles. If they don't get and like WALL•E, they probably won't get and like me! I'm finding the movie to be quite helpful in finding and sorting out true romantics with open hearts. So far though, I'm still looking! I must confess I'm a little envious of the little robot though . . . he goes for, and wins over, the first girl he sees, and he's set for eternity! If only real life were so simple, at least once in a while!  |

Wow....the environmental stuff that was barely even there? ;D It's funny how the tiniest environmentalist message (or in this case backdrop) can make people feel like they're being "preached to". |
