To get this section going, though we'd start with a question. For me, it's Aladdin. I also really love Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, and Tarzan. But Aladdin has a special place for me, and "Whole New World" is my favorite love song of all time.

I think mine is either Beauty and the Beast or Aladdin. I can't choose.

I've been liking Brother Bear lately. It's pretty underrated, IMO

Really? I never even gave it a chance. (I stopped going to Disney traditional animated films after "Treasure Planet".) Should I check it out?

Oh wait, duh. I want to change mine. Mine is Nightmare Before Christmas. I keep forgetting that one's a Disney movie.

Really? I never even gave it a chance. (I stopped going to Disney traditional animated films after "Treasure Planet".) Should I check it out? Oh definitely! I thought it was a great movie. Question is, was treasure planet really that terrible that you just stopped watching traditional Disney animated films altogether? I've never seen it myself, but that must have been one heck of a trauma ;D

Aladdin is WAAAAY up there for me, if not my favorite. However, if you had asked me this question when I was 3 years old, the answer would have undoubtedly been Dumbo. Casey Jr. owns!

There are so many I haven't seen in ages, but for now I'll go with:
1. The Lion King 2. The Little Mermaid 3. Beauty and the Beast
Honorable Mention: Mulan! I give props to Disney for stepping outside their "comfort zone" on this one.

bkim, kudos for mentioning Mulan! Best Disney "princess" ever! I really liked "A Goofy Movie" . . . it really surprised me by how good it was. I secretly liked "The Brave Little Toaster" but I feel like such a traitor to admit it since it was the film that Disney stole from Lasseter.
Fast Dash, "Treasure Planet" wasn't bad, it was sad. I wanted so much to like it because it was such a cool concept and the first 15 minutes were amazing -- but then it was like the director just got up and said, "Okay, kids, you're on your own," and walked out the door with the script. Then the rest of the 45 minutes was the characters just making up the plot, sets and everything else as they went along. It was just so painful to watch a great concept die because no one seeemd to care.
After watching it, I just couldn't deal with the pain of going to another Disney film and being disappointed because I was the only one who seemed to care. So I gave up.

I really thought both were fantastic films! Thanks for reminding me. The Brave Little Toaster was great too and I loved the first one. The second one though was kinda - eh... it kinda lost it I think. Ah, I'll have to watch TP to know what you mean.

Well, if you want to. But I would be curious what you think. Anyone who understands the coolness of "A Goofy Movie" and the first "Brave Little Toaster" has an opinion I value.
