Yes, this is an expression that is actually used a lot where I live, especially in the business world. And now when I hear it, I start to giggle.

Interesting information. I never made the connection bwetween "BuyNLarge" and "Buy and large" until I was watching CNN and someone used the phrase. I always used to think "BuyNLarge" was supposed to sound like "Buy, enlarge" because they buy things and get fatter...

Meh, the whole consumerism bit wasn't really the "enlarge" part. Them sitting in chairs, having technology drive their lives, and being in anti-gravity for so long is ultimately what lead to the "big baby" look.

Yeah, I know that. But I didn't think about that when I first saw it. I just assumed they got fat because they were lazy and ate too much. And then I read something about spending too much time in space and what it does to you.
