Urk. I'm not voting in the Best Villain category, since they totally missed the point that obesity wasn't the "bad guy" in this film. But best line and best summer movie totally have my votes! ETA: Too bad TDK will probably sweep with all the teen hype still so massive.

I'm surprised EVE wasn't nominated Hottest Woman. ;D

I voted to show my support for WALL-E, and I'm glad UGO at least had the decency to include it for Best Movie. I'll restrain myself from ranting about the p*ss-poor handling of most of the categories because it would be off-topic.

BnL is a classic, intelligent sci-fi villain. It has no chance now, The Joker will win that catagory. Because of their shortsightedness, I hereby deem them "the EGO awards."

I had to laugh with UGO's description of WALL•E under the Best Picture category:
"That stinking robot is so damned cute it makes us want to break something."
Perhaps the most unusual tagline for WALL•E I've ever seen!
. . . and you folks are right — they had the wrong Villain in WALL•E, and EVE should have definitely gotten a nomination in an actress/female lead category!
