Hi guys, I've been using the Hyperdesk Theme set today and I thought now would be a good time to write a review. First and foremost, on a technical level it is excellent. It doesn't slow down your computer, doesn't seem to put a strain on any background services, and runs great. It also auto-applies to all windows, so you want have a weird out-of-place Firefox theme when you open up Firefox. After you install the theme you will have a shortcut to the Theme Set where you can choose which Theme, Icons, Wallpaper, and Media Player Skin you want. You can also easily revert to Windows XP defaults via this menu. A+ for Technical Merit
As far as the separate themes go, you have an excellent number of choices and combinations. These include:
Hyperthemes:
WALL-E
EVE
Buy-N-Large
WALL-E 2
On top of these themes, I've chosen appropriate wallpapers and icon sets. There are many many wallpapers, which I won't post individually so that people don't snatch them up. Aside from the wallpapers I've already posted we have:
M-O
WALL-E and M-O
WALL-E and EVE holding hands from the ending
The inside of the Escape Pod
A view of the outside of the Escape Pod while still attached to the ship (so inside the ship)
The Axiom in space
EVE aiming her gun, from near the beginning
EVE and WALL-E's "Caution" picture, with EVE aiming the gun
WALL-E sitting in the escape pod
WALL-E not taking John's cup
WALL-E and EVE in the repair bay, just after WALL-E took her gun
WALL-E flying through space with the fire extinguisher
EVE flying through space
WALL-E and EVE flying together
Besides these several options of wallpapers, you also have many options for icon sets, including:
WALL-E
EVE
Buy-N-Large
WALL-E 2
EVE 2
Buy-N-Large 2
These all have separate icons for folders, My Computer, Recycle Bin, CD and DVD Drives, HDD's, and more. Finally, it comes with three separate skins for Windows Media Player:
WALL-E
EVE
Buy-N-Large
As far as my view on these separate Hyperthemes themselves, I feel the EVE and Buy-N-Large themes are by far the "sleekest" and coolest of the set, but the WALL-E themes are very much designed to evoke WALL-E himself, giving you the cute with the functional, the trash compactor rusty look with the well-designed undertones and overtones all around it. Ultimately my only complaint is, in spite of the already massive amount of variety, they could've done even more. But that's only really speaking for the Media Player skins, and they still work very well giving you an option for whatever theme you choose. A for Design and Functionality
Overall this is an excellent set of themes, icons, wallpapers, and skins that any WALL-E lover would be happy to have. I can't wait to get my laptop so I can set WALL-E up as a permanent resident on my screen. :8
