how bout when eve, uppon seeing go-4 put the plant into the pod and turns to wall-e and says 'wall-e' as if appolgising

I don't really think of her as "apologizing" at that particular scene. More of a "we better get out of here," and then, "WALL-E! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING???"

In one of the junior novelizations, the author says: "WALL-E gazed at EVE. Now there was proof that he hadn't taken the plant from her! EVE acknowledged this with a sheepish shrug." Maybe the original screenplay had more of "I told you so!" interaction between WALL-E and EVE . . . which personally I'm glad they didn't do. Would have made me think WALL-E was being a bit of a smart a--. Not in character, I think . . . I think WALL-E would just be happy EVE wasn't mad at him anymore and wouldn't rub it in her face. He strikes me as a pretty forgiving guy.

The best part for me is when Eve asking Wall-E' directive in a different languages. It was cool, and it shows us the Eve was more sophisticated and waaaaay of his league.
