I decided to start a topic devoted to the funny faces the characters make. Sometimes, animated characters are required to make these, almost always, exaggerated faces in order to portray a certain emotion, reaction, etc. It's a tool used by animators to personify characters despite limitations in screenplay as well as their being. Not all the pictures here are necessarily of that tool though. Some are just really funny looking still shots I already posted the funny face Eve makes when she switches on the light bulb in the Eve topic, and with that, I was curious to find more of these... enjoy! I'm trying to find more, but these are what I got so far: WALL-E getting electrocuted, as lightning hits his umbrella: You can see the look of fear in WALL-E's eyes as he's about to be struck by twirling Eve: Eve's scared face as she's assaulted by an excited Captain McCrea: The look of disgust on Eve's face as that contraption is frenetically pegged on her head by the Captain: This is when she initially breaks WALL-E's manual egg beater: And probably the best one so far: Here is where WALL-E's hand is caught in Eve's appendage

Very enjoyable post! Most of these expressions go by in just a few frames of the film, so they can be difficult to catch and appreciate.
I just love the way EVE uses her eyes to convey expression though — it is both a great way the Pixar folks use of allowing EVE to get her thoughts across without using dialogue, and one of the most endearing aspects of the film.
But hey, you forgot one! My favorite expression of hers is when she and WALL•E are hiding in the Pod Bay, and she cracks her eyes suspiciously towards her left, trying to catch a glimpse of what GO-4 is up to at the Pod Bay's control panel. I don't have access to, or can't find this image; but if you could add it to your main post here, that would be great!

Haha, glad you guys enjoyed it Well, like I promised, here's more: This is Eve trying to look innocent after wrecking Wall-E's manual egg beater: Wall-E and Eve as they are showered with robot parts: Wall-E in the Repair Ward... VAQ-M was sucking on his binoculars: I thought this was cute; You can see Wall-E hiding behind Eve's gun as she scolds him: Did anyone notice PR-T dolling up one of the Rogue robots? The other robots were watching L-T bounce around inside the dark compartment: And of course, by request of Northwesterner, here's Eve looking suspiciously to the left at GO-4. Wall-E is also doing the same thing:

These are great!
Another one I like is when EVE wakes up and sees that statue of herself made of garbage. She has this great, "What the hell is this supposed to be?" look on her face.

Lol, I like the one where Wall-e gets stuck under Eve's appendage, I didn't know he can make it go that wide.

I really like the one when EVE and WALL-E keep missing each other after the pod explodes. After WALL-E says "Whoa-whoa-whoa!" That look on EVE's face when she realizes she's flown right past him is so funny . . .
