I expected it to be good (like all Pixar movies, except Cars anyway), however I had no idea it would supplant The Incredibles as my favourite overall Pixar film.
Before seeing it, I actually thought Brad Bird would be a better choice as Director... seeing that he'd already proved with Iron Giant that he could do incredible things with a robot movie, and the fact he'd directed my favourite (at that time) Pixar flick. I'd thought Finding Nemo was cute, but it didn't thrill me as much as it apparently did the many, many people who contributed several times to its box office gross, lol.

And what's about me... I wasn't going to watch WALL-E at all ('cause I watch movies very rarely...). So I haven't seen teasers and didn't know about it at all (I only saw posters in subway... but didn't pay attention to them). And one day I bought big pack of GP batteries for 'nice price', and there was WALL-E figurine in it. So I decided to find out who WALL-E is, and found its storyline by Google... As I'm big fan of Ayreon (Dutch progressive rock opera), WALL-E's storyline seemed to me rather close to Ayreon's storyline (The Universal Migrator especially). And I decided to go to the cinema and watch it.
