This is actually old news, I believe, but whatever, just wanted an official post here. The DVD release date is November 4th. Can't wait. The information may not be totally accurate because everyone seems to be pulling from here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BURN-EBut I'd assume they'd release it around then, so I'm just going to continue assuming Nov. 4th is correct until told otherwise.

That's great, I didn't even know until now. That's not even too far away.

Wow, I would have expected it later in November, but it just gives more time for people to buy it.

There was another date floating around, but it was December 31st, and that sounds like a very very bad idea. I wonder if TDK and Iron Man release dates are going to be later in November/December? That might factor into their decision to release it earlier in November.

I'm gonna snatch up that DVD as soon as I get the chance, since I'm probably not going to see the movie at the theater again.

A new potential date has been posted at Pixar Planet, but I have no clue where the guy got the pic or info yet. I dig that cover, but sadly the release date is a week later then we were hoping/thinking, if this is true. ETA: And the Blu-ray cover: Hrm, noticing them, they both have the Blu-ray icon, and I know there's not gonna be a 2-Disc Blu-ray. Something fishy up here.

That is very odd. The second cover looks good for Blu Ray release. Maybe the first is just a box art that was made up for the website?

That box look AWESOME! It's a shame I can't get Wall-e. I'll still watch it again.

That's some pretty spiffy box art... although I wonder how M-O is hanging onto the ship...

Does this mean that the DVD is going to have two disks everywhere, or just in certain areas? I remember reading on Pixar Planet that the UK has the tendancy to get two-disk versions of films even when they are released as a single disk in the US.
Also, I'm seriously debating about pre-ordering the DVD. If I pre-ordered it, they probably wouldn't ship it until the release date, which means that it probably wouldn't come in until a week or so after it hits the shelves.
On the other hand, I can't guarantee that I will be able to get a ride to Blockbuster, Walmart, etc. on the day of the DVD's release. There's also the fact that this film will probably be flying off the shelves, so you can't guarantee that there will be any copies left when you get to the store.
I don't know what to do...
