Has anyone noticed how WALL-E's solar charge level panel flashes up and down when EVE first "kisses" him? Mmmmm? ;D

That part always gets me I have a question relating to Wall-E: Why are the Wall-E units equipped with a recording device? It's the only feature on the robot I don't completely understand the utitlity of... other than to record show tunes to work diligently to

That was way too awesome! Thank you very much for posting that! I enjoyed reading it Is that the first in the series, or are there other ones before it? I've only read this one and 2200. Also, the young technician in the beginning reminds me of Linguini from Ratatouille, for obvious reasons...

Glad you enjoyed it! I'm starting research on a "2400" and "2600" -- right now those two are the only installments. Actually, you hit it absolutely right. I actually had other Pixar characters in mind as I wrote the humans. A "Linguini" and "Skinner" appear in the first scene.

I wasn't really sure what thread to put this in. I was taking the "What Pixar Character Are You?" quiz on Facebook, and I got WALL-E. I was upset when I read the caption that came up upon completing the quiz.
Wall-E
You are a cold soul and act as a robot but when somebody needs help you can be tender as a child. You don't like your routine and would like to change it...unfortunally you are a bit lazy to do it.
He is most definitely not a "cold soul." He's anything but! And he certianly isn't lazy! The poor guy has been working his tail off for 700 years...

*sigh* WALL-E. What more can I say about this little dude? He's the greatest, most charming, adorable, huggable thing I've ever seen ... and EVE too.
