Try not to double post here either MM. If people want to comment on the topic they'll do so when they get a chance. I'm gonna remove the second comment.

I saw TDK again today and I am still in awe of Heath's performance. I was reading some user reviews on Yahoo today and pretty much everyone said that he deserves the Oscar and this is the movie that people will remember him for.

I just saw it for a second time tonight as well, Heath's performance gets better the more I see it.

I won't pretend to have been a lifelong fan of Ledger because I've never seen a single movie of his prior to The Dark Knight and, frankly, he never really got my attention prior to his casting as The Joker. After watching what he did with the character, however, I feel that Hollywood and the filmmaking world has been robbed of an unique, deeply talented individual and a wonderful human soul, who had the potential to become an all-time great.
Rest in peace, man.

Rest in peace, man. If you can enjoy some good fun and aren't a stickler for historical accuracy in comedy, then I would recommend "A Knight's Tale" as a good starting point. It's far from meant to be a treatise on jousting in medieval times, and is much more a modern sports movie using jousting and a medieval setting, along with modern music. It's really quite a lot of fun for those that can just let themselves go with the flow. Another one that I felt was overrated but still an interesting, poignant, although a bit yawn-inducing at times, movie was Brokeback Mountain.

I'm definitely interested in seeing his other movies now. I've watched clips of his other roles on YouTube and I'm just amazed at the night-and-day difference between them and his portrayal of the Joker. He's unrecognizable.

Trust Me His Best Role Was As The Joker, So When You Watch His Other Movies, Don't Expect Anything As Good As He Played The Joker.
