Great interview! Thanks for posting!
Favorite part: Stanton saying, "Oh, no," when she says she's going to read some of the extreme views on the film.

Whoa...I did NOT know Stanton was Crush until I heard this interview! Wow...
And I thought it was interesting how he wrote the first 30 minutes of WALL-E while he was SUPPOSED to be doing a rewrite for Finding Nemo, and he didn't tell anyone about it. Heheh.

This interview is great! I love the bit where Stanton talks about how he chose which items WALL-E would keep in his trailer.

Oh...whoops. My previous post went in the wrong thread. It was supposed to go in that OTHER thread with an Andrew Stanton interview, haha.
Anyway, so NOW I've listened to this interview, and it was quite good. I thought it was interesting how John Lasseter hired him despite him not really having any computer skills, because it was the animation skills that he really wanted to see...the computer skills could be taught.

I love listening to that man talk. He's such a genius! And I always learn something new from every interview I read/hear.
I think the thing about the Peter Gabriel concert with the two stages where he would play on the round stage if the song was for women and the square stage for men. I love how that sort of inspired Andrew Stanton to make Wall-E square and Eve sort of roundish.
