Wow, Swan . . . you ranked the Incredibles really low. What didn't you like about it?

It's my least favorite Pixar film, and in my opinion, the most overrated. It didn't have that magic Pixar films usually have. It's not too bad, I enjoy it a bit, but it's still nowhere as good as the rest of the Pixar films, in my opinion. But more power to you if it's one of your favorites.

I was just curious because I totally agree with you that it's VERY different from the previous Pixar films. Sometimes I find it really interesting to hear why people didn't like a film as much as why they did.

I'm going to try to rank them, leaving these two out because I haven't seen them enough to judge (only once each and I didn't pay too much attention either time): A Bug's Life and Finding Nemo
1. WALL-E 2. Toy Story 1 & 2 3. Cars 4. Monsters, Inc. 5. The Incredibles 6. Ratatouille

And yet we all agree on WALL-E! That just shows what a great film it is.

I'm going to get stoned for this one.
1. Ratatouille 2. Wall-E 3. Presto 4. Lifted 5. The Incredibles
I saw Ratatouille long before Wall-E and it quickly became my number one Pixar film. I have yet to see the other films, but I eventually will.

No stoning here, only a lengthy torture session involving whips and spikes.

You think you would get stoned for putting WALL-E as #2 My goodness, that's still really high on a list that has 9 really good films to choose from! Even if someone told me WALL-E didn't even make it into their top 25 favorite films, I wouldn't feel they deserved any kind of censure. There are SO many fantastic films in the world. All I'd want is that the person respect the film for what it is and have insights on that are interesting and perceptive. Nope, most you'd ever get from me is 30 lashes with a wet noodle. ;D

I think I told you before, but it's nice to know there is another person here who loves Ratatouille as much (more, actually) than I do.
