mild romance is okay. i read 'the time travelers wife' and it was spectacular. YAY! Have you heard about the movie? I'm iffy on it myself, but if they pull it off well then it's gonna be a really good movie.

Whoa. That one would be hard to pull off. Especially since every time he time travels his clothes stay behind. ;D

Whoa. That one would be hard to pull off. Especially since every time he time travels his clothes stay behind. ;D Yeah, I hope they keep that part in, it'll drastically alter the plot if they don't. It's fairly easy to cut around, and if they go for a PG-13 or R rating they can even not have to be too strict about how much/little they show. The real problem I see arising is them cutting out the part where he ties that dude to a tree, plus all of the potential outcry about it being sick for him to talk to her as a little girl, since our society goes into an outrage if there's even a perceived-but-not-there bit of pedophilia.

I like reading a lot of different things, but mostly I find myself reading historical fiction, mysteries, and non-fiction about whatever subjects happen to intrigue me at the moment.

I like science fiction, historical horror, and biographies.
My favorite author is Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and I love her twenty one book series of Count St. Germain, the 4000 year old vampire. She sets the novels in all different time periods and keeps historical perspective accurately. Very good novel. I love Tempting Fate, the best, it features St. Germain in Germany between the two world wars.
