If I had the money and space, I would buy them. My local theater has sold the standins and such before.

The Wall-E on box theater display comes up for sale on Feebay occasionally, and generally sells for around $300, but shipping costs alone can be double or even triple that amount. But if you have a suitable place and space to display it, you probably have that kind of cash too!
I would kill, (ok, maybe just maim), for one of those benches; too bad they were only distributed in England (if my sources are correct). Anyone know if the bench itself is made of wood? Plastic? I've never seen one in person.

I want these so bad. Wow, if I had the space, that would be mine. And of course, money also.

I've never seen one in person. I'm pretty sure I saw one of the bench set-ups at one of our theaters. I'm thinking the benches themselves are made of wood, because I've seen loads of pictures people have taken of themselves sitting on the bench. I wish I had been a WALL-E fan when the bench was there.

I didn't see the bench either, Viva. I'm not sure which theaters had them, but that huge life-size (or bigger than life-size, based on the perspective from the movie) is just amazing.

The theater I go to most had the huge WALL-E (no bench). It was so cool to walk past it every time I went to see the movie -- like WALL-E was welcoming me. (Yeah, okay -- weird, but it was just neat.)

I asked the manager at one theater and she said they had to "return it to the distributor" after they were done with it. Whoever the distributor is. Disney, I guess. Shame. I was going to reserve one and put it in my back yard. Or maybe just let it sit in the middle of my living room as a nice centerpiece, lol. I don't care. I want one.

Heh, it seems to depend on which theater and who you ask. They very likely just trash them once they're shipped back to the "distributor" anyway.

Unless someone punches a hole in Wall-E's stomach like my friend did.

Oh, dear. Yeah, I saw a video on YouTube of some kids destroying one of the WALL-E stands.
