So I'm sure we're all very happy that WALL-E formed a whole, coherent, powerful story. But, which scenes do you feel stand on their own so well that even if the rest of the movie sucked, it'd be worth paying to get in just to see them?
For me the first is the "Define Dancing" scene, by far the best in the movie, IMO. Second is the closing credits montage. Finally, the opening scenes with WALL-E's lonely day-to-day life.

I think WALL-E is the only movie where I'd pay just to see the end credits. ;D
I would have to agree with you on the scenes you chose.

The ending. Holy crud, that was probably the most amazing sequence in the whole movie: Eve, desperately fixing Wall-E, only to have him completely lose all he was. All her attempts to gain him back all failing, and that one moment of surrendor, where she realizes he's gone. I swear, that was a moment in film history alone, her quietly humming "It Only Takes a Moment" and gently 'kissing' Wall-E goodbye. I cried the first time I saw it.
Then, when all seems lost, the simple gesture of Wall-E reciprocating, closing his fingers around Eve's and saying her name (and the adorable "OMG! We're holding hands!" moment ;D ) If I hadn't cried enough from sadness, it was nothing compared to the cascade of happy tears that started from joy. To top the proverbial cake, there was the blissful moment when they laid their foreheads against each others, perfectly content. Repeat after me: D'AAAWWW.
Secondly, I'd have to say the epic opening sequence. All those beautiful shots of stars with Put on Your Sunday Clothes playing on surround sound...I was baffled by it. It dragged me in immediately and assured me this was going to be an amazing ride.

The last time I went to see it, I cried the most during the credits. But definitely Define Dancing, the first 40 minutes when they are on earth, the final scene, the garbage airlock scene, the scene with Eve watching her security camera, oh, heck. All of it!

i liked the airloc scene where the wall-a units were looking down on the scene.. kinda reminded me of a sports accident where the rest of the team gathers around the injured player

Definitely the define dancing scene was alone worth it, that was by really great, so the ending scene as well, starting from the airlock and until the movie ends.

Aside from what everyone else has said, I think the line
"I don't want to survive! I want to live!"
was worth the price of admission. (Well, not without the context of the scene...but you know what I mean.)

There are a great many number of scenes that stand out here, especially the Define Dancing scene, and the entire first act on Earth (especially the opening sequence), but I'll ... *counts* ... quadruple the consensus about the epilogue in the credits being worth ten bucks (or more depending on where you are).

The opening scene was THE BEST opening scene I've ever seen in my life, really. When the camera shot the brownish earth and zoom it in with the satellites flying around, it was like you can touch it!
The scene where Eve examines the lighter at Wall-E's house, when she looks at it and look at the "it only takes a moment" scene, and look at it again... I don't know, but it was the time when I know that this movie was a pure poetry. It just so beautiful.
The define dancing scene... Makes me cry
The ending, when the silent surrounds the theater...
The end credits...

Oh, just thought of one I don't think has been mentioned . . . when WALL-E invites EVE to his trailer. That scene was just so cute and sweet . . . I wished it could have gone on longer with WALL-E showing EVE more things and her figuring out how to do something interesting with them.
