So, I LOVE the tagline of the film, but I thought it'd be fun to come up with our own, too.
I like the line from the trailer, "After 700 years of doing what he was made for, now he'll discover what he was meant for." A good tagline might be, with WALL-E looking inquisitive on the poster:
"What was I meant for?"
That one is kind of cheesy, but it'd be a good way of effectively pointing out that this isn't just an "adventure" film.
Or, perhaps, a callback to I Am Legend, with EVE's shuttle coming down and WALL-E looking up panicked (you know the shot I'm talking about).
"The last robot on Earth...is not alone."

Eh, I can't think of any good ones, but I want to say something along the lines of:
"Boy meets girl. Boy falls for girl. Boy and girl save the human race."
Perhaps someone else can expand on that.

I like that one, bkim.
Yeah . . . I'm struggling with this one too because it's really a test of your ability to capture a whole lot of stuff in a few words. And it can be cute, but not too cute . . . really tough.

On one of the wallpapers I made from a screenshot of the 1080 trailer, I used a similar tagline to the one from the old Superman movie, modified for WALL•E of course.
"You'll believe a robot can love."

That's the official tagline for the movie. It appears at the end of several trailers.

Seconded. WALL-E and EVE's flight around the Axiom always reminds me of Lois and Superman's first flight.
I'll try to come up with one....

*now trying to make "Can you read my mind?" poem fit WALL-E and EVE* Two words. Music video. I've already made a music video to that song with a different subject matter. Your turn!

Woah, minus the mind-reading part (which to be fair doesn't fit Superman either!) this fits perfectly with WALL-E talking to EVE:
Music video indeed.

You should put that in the "Songs that remind you of WALL-E" thread.

Oh my gosh! That is perfect! I didn't know it was a song. *looks for song*
Does anyone know any good versions of it? Because I don't like any I've heard so far.
