It was out of all the theaters in my area for a bit, but I checked again today and it has a couple of showtimes daily in the two major theaters in my area. Going to see it again next Thursday!

Three times a day here. It's hanging on...I'd go to see it with my friend again, but I have a feeling he wants to wait until the DVD comes out to see it again.

Same in my city. 2 theatres, each middle of the day showing.
But we have some "cheap" theaters and "Wanted" just arrived today at them, so I'll bet WALL-E will be going ghetto next week.

It will be! Where I live right now, it stopped showing everywhere but one theater, but I'm leaving for school tomorrow in another state, and they have three showings a day at practically all the theaters still. I plan to go see it on Tuesday, because they have buses there that go right past the theater. I'm so excited! It's the only thing about college I'm excited for right now!
I think I just might go see it again on Wednesday, as well...

Yeah, it's still playing around here. I might catch a showing tomorrow if my mom will give me the money. She'll probably say, "Why do you want to see THAT again?", but you know what? I don't care; I'm watching the bloody movie!

I'm now torn!
The cineplex in the next town (where I got my WALL•E Theatre Stand from -- pics are over on the WALL•E Theatre Stands thread) is not only still showing the film, but have bumped it up from one daily 11 AM matinee this weekend to two! I thought it was going to disappear for sure, but it's making a resurgence!
PLUS, my local restaurant/theatre in my town is suddenly showing it in 2nd run . . . earlier than had been expected. So I'm going to happily split my patronage. I'll see a Sunday matinee at the cineplex in the next town, both to thank them for giving me the theatre stand, and show support for their expanded showings of WALL•E. Then, I'll see it again Wednesday at the restaurant in my town on their "Burger, Beer, and Movie" combo day!
So it's two more viewings of WALL•E this coming week (which will bring it up to 12 total and counting) . . . in different venues!
I'm happy! ;D

I wonder if it's possible to keep a movie playing in a theater singlehandedly. If one person goes to see the movie every day, I wonder if that would cause them to extend the length of time it remains in theaters.

It's still playing in a major theater in Indonesia, since it just got released @ 13 august. The one that bothering me is Wall-E get a release date when children are starting to school!

It better be, I'm right here by Disneyland and Downtown Disney's AMC 12 theaters. I think it's the only theater in Orange County playing nighttime showings of WALL-E; there are two or three others with only matinees. However, I'm satisfied for now until the (official) DVD comes out; the last time I saw it there was just positively magical.

Tomorrow is the last day for WALL•E in first run in my region. The cineplex I've been seeing him at is finally casting him aside for some new movies this weekend. But, I'll make a hole in my schedule to see him at the Regal cineplex one more time tomorrow (and likely earn enough points on my frequent user card, if I should ever want to go there for anything else . . . can't think of anything else that really appeals to me for the foreseeable future!) And my local 2nd run restaurant/theatre seems to have WALL•E just pegged for daytime matinee fare right now on just the weekends, so I can't enjoy a proper dinner with WALL•E at the moment there (this place serves any dinner on their menu right to your seat.) But I may catch him again on Sunday anyway . . . it's hard to beat $3 for a continued big screen experience! I notice though that further north of me in the Seattle, Washington area, a number of theatres are still showing WALL•E in 1st run, including a number with full-price evening shows. If my restaurant/theatre stops showing it, I might find an occasional excuse to trek up to Seattle! After all, I have Callendor's 20+ viewings record still to shoot for!

I'm not sure how long it'll be going on but since it's popped back into theaters in my area I'm seeing it tomorrow.

It's going down to two showings a day starting Friday. And that's the only place they play it at.
