I only have The Art Of Wall-E and the Wall-E Read-Aloud book. I almost bought the Little Golden Book (SO ADORABLE!) and Rogue Robots when I was on vacation in Florida, but I had to resist or my mom would kill me. I had already splurged on an Interaction Eve and The Art of Wall-E the week before.
But anyways, The Art of Wall-E is a really great read. I definitely recommend it. I got teary eyed at some points. I have never gotten teary-eyed while reading a non-fiction book.

And I can't read ANY of them... Out of curiosity, does anyone know how I can read the Junior novelization online? *bats eyes* Please?

Shoot, I can't decide. >< Erm...erm....Irene's? Maybe? (Because both would be too much work for you, I think...)

Sounds good. I'd do the "Irene" one first and then if you're still interested, I'll do the other one after the first one's finished. I'll hopefully have time to do the first chapter tomorrow. I'd do it tonight, but I'm soooo tired.

No prob. I'll do the other one too. One chapter a week might take us all the way to the DVD release . . .

So, to you guys that have gotten lots of the books, what are the best ones? So far I have:
WALL-E: The Junior Novelization WALL-E: The Intergalactic Tour Guide
I also saw "Lots of Bots" which looked like a papercraft type book, another one that had a paint set with it, "Rogue Robots" which looked like a really short "kid's book", and then another like Rogue Robots that I couldn't remember the name of.
I currently want "The Art of WALL-E" but it's on back-order. Are there any other WALL-E books I am unaware of that I should be?

Well, my favorite is "Lots of Bots" because it's so original and unique. (I love collage artists.)
But I think the "Intergalactic Guide" is probably the best for the "serious" WALL-E fan who wants to have a nice photo book.

So the Lots of Bots isn't some kind of cut out book or something? All I saw was shapes and such, so I didn't know.

It's actually collage graphic art done by a Pixar artist, Ben Butcher, on his own time . . . Neat interview with a graphic arts webzine showing how he did it . . . grainedit.com/2008/05/12/the-making-of-the-pixar-wall-e-picture-book-lots-of-bots/It's interesting that he talks about how hurried he was making it . . . there are actually glue smears and slight imperfections here and there that you can see if you look closely. Really gives the whole book a very tactile look and feel. And really fits gives the book a lot of character. Seriously, I think even if I wasn't a big WALL-E fan, I would still probably really like this book. myadversaria.wordpress.com/2008/07/24/lots-of-bots/

Oh, that reminds me of why I put it down, the "fan bot blows" thing, it seemed a bit like robots were being made up for the book.

[http://www.amazon.com/Smash-Trash-Wall-Step-Reading/dp/0736425152/ref=pd_bbs_sr_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1219594306&sr=1-3 Aww, the cover art is absolutely adorable! Sadly, the only Wall-E book in my collection thusfar is All Systems, Go! I was sold at the stickers, suffice to say ;D . My grandma bought it for me the day I saw Wall-E, actually. I've stopped and read little picture books of Wall-E, which have very interesting illustrations but skim over all the good parts. For example, Auto didn't show up at all in any of them: he was only mention in one as "a bad robot who shocked Wall-E". Youch...poor wheel

Yeah, that's interesting, Castoro . . . the books I have for the younger set do give AUTO the short shrift. "Space Chase" goes directly from "WALL-E and EVE dance in space" to "WALL-E is trapped in a trash cube!" There's only two pages that mention AUTO at all ("EVE meets AUTO, the robot who steers the ship" and "AUTO is in control!"). I hadn't really noticed that before you mentioned it.
I really like "All Systems Go!" especially the stickers! ;D
