When you consider eve the embodiment of the exact personality you are looking for in a girl friend. lol, this was mostly true of me long before I saw the film; Eve's personality often reminded me of girls I've been interested in over the years. Though none of them ever had an energy weapon trained on me, lol.

Just for fun... And yes, they all relate to me. 1. You try to get your friends obsessed with WALL·E. They say they liked the movie, but that isn't good enough for you. You get insanely annoyed when they start talking about some random topic as soon as they leave the theater instead of talking about WALL·E and how amazing it was. 2. You have to plot and scheme to not let your parents find out exactly how many times you've seen WALL·E in theaters because they will think you are wasting your time and money. 3. You take about an hour to remove your WALL-E figures from their packaging because you don't want to mess up the packaging (and the adorable WALL-E eyes!). You feel scandalized when you see videos of people ripping apart the packaging and tossing it aside as though it were garbage. 4. You want them to release sheet music for WALL·E. Badly. Very. Very. Badly. You also want sheet music for Hello, Dolly! 5. You think about WALL·E for the vast majority of the day, and you often relate everyday-life situations to events that occured in the movie. 6. You get very angry when your friends want to go see a movie other than WALL·E. 7. You watch Hello, Dolly! and imagine WALL·E saying all of Cornelius' lines. 8. You constantly listen to the WALL·E soundtrack. You also constantly listen to the full versions of "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" and "It Only Takes a Moment." Wow, all that also applies to me too!

Hahaha!
When there is a fire, you fight start an argument over who gets to use the fire extinguisher. (I've never done this, but I probably would)

Well, here's one posting area I can definitely present some of my WALL*Eism's to - obsessed? me? yeah! After 12 times, I think WALL*E has become a clean and healthy emotional addiction for me. Being married for over 25 years, would you believe that something as unexpectedly grand as WALL*E has actually created the formation of a "new pillar of strength" that has been driven into the groundwork and foundation of my life, adding a new support to an already firm foundation, and bringing new rays of light to a heart that has already been nourished on the attractions of living for an "old fashioned" and "gallant" form of "true love" and "romance' ( the REAL and ORIGINAL meanings, not the way they have been sourly re-defined in today's current generation - though there are still those who still believe in these older and better ways - it is NOT extinct ) . My wife also enjoyed WALL*E - she is not much for science fiction, but she was patient throughout the film and became increasingly engrossed and actually became attached with many of the scenes we have all discussed out here. Especially with WALL*E first meeting with EVE ( when EVE speaks WALL*E's name for the first time, in the "soft" way she did, my wife had a smiling "AAAAAWWWWWW!" when WALL*E's response and eyes had a reaction showing is if his heart was melting like warm butter- as if he wasn't smitten enough - if WALL*E had the dialogue to speak at this moment, it could have been "I've never had anyone say my name like that, ever". And when she said WALL*E's name the second time, with a giggle [ yes, I know all about the many posts all over about EVE"S laugh and giggle, and it has to be one that was well established and chosen for her character; a clean, pure, simple, appealing, femininely attractive tone that all by itself could melt a man's heart. ] WALL*E seemed to react happily as if to think, "she's laughing again, she's feels happy- my name, it really makes her feel happy". My wife liked this scene, along with a number of others). From the original trailers, I could not have expected WALL*E to be anything close to the entirety of what I saw- a love story, and the emotional impact, the heart of this grand film, I was not expecting the ride that I got. It's similar to some of my favorite roller coaster rides at the theme parks, but this one I could ride without end, the impact always being the same, no matter on the repetition. The visuals, the music, the portrayals, the core theme, the artistry, everything combined - well do I appear obsessed enough? Examples: I have a YouTube collection of favorite scene clips from brave film enthusiasts who have created some really fine clip creations. These are great videos to watch, until the tripli CD collection arrives - WALL*E is no longer playing in my nearby area. I view these quite often I find myself using the word "directive" more often these days. Somwhat reprogrammed, I guess. If I ever see another cockraoch, I'll probably call it HAL, and tell it to sit - ( so I don't step on it ) Before I take out the trash, I find myself pressing down and compacting it more, before I wrap it up. I find the songs, "Out There", "Put On Your Sunday Clothes", and especially, "It Only Takes A Moment" playing in my head so often. I usually like Smooth Jazz and Contemprary music, and still do, but I'm finding myself compelled to watch the YouTube clips posted of the Hello Dolly film with these 2 songs, as it brings the scenes of the movie to life in my mind. I look for anything WALL*E whenever I browse through the stores. I purchased whatever books on WALL*E that have been published, especially the large one on WALL*E art, the book on mauch of the artwork thta went into the making of the film. I'm hoping to see a long text version of the film in book form, for older readers, approved by the writer/director ( Stanton ) so that maybe he can express and define many of the finer areas of the film and convey from his thoughts what he maybe intended some of the key characters to be thinking/expressing, or even say ( what they might have said in certain of our favorite scenes had they been given the actual dialogue to say ). I keep the soundtrack CD in my car and play it quite often. Would you believe that this music has the constant ability to cause me to re-imagine these scenes, and to still bring me to 'gulp hard" and become "misty-eyed" ? ( Should I say "cry" ? yeah, I confess, sometimes even cry ) The only thing left that I can think of that I haven't done yet is to buy a pair of binoculars and place them on top of a large square box, and, to buy a blue magic marker and draw large blue eyes on all the white eggs in my refrigerator. ( The writers said that they gave EVE the shape of an egg because it showed a form that was foundationally sleek, elegant, and graceful, along with the other added features which maintained these qualities and completed the brilliance of the final appealing appearance of EVE ). Time for me to shut down, for now. I'll be posting elsewhere with some other WALL*E questions about the film. I'd like to see if some of the finer points of the film that I've seen have some like minded/like hearted views from any of you folks out there. This forum site is A1 / Tops !!
