The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor - 9/10. It probably suits more as an 8/10, but I really enjoyed it enough, and the CGI was cool-looking enough for me, that I gave it an extra point.
I liked it a lot. It's fun. That's it.
Nothing really stands out in it except for the fun. That's the best thing of the film. The CGI is not mind-blowing, but I don't think it was meant to be. Honestly, the CGI looked cool enough, that I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much if it were more realistic.
The acting was good. Brendan Fraser and John Hannah did as great as they always do. I also thought Luke Ford, who played the son, did a very good job. I wasn't liking the new Evelyn during the first half hour, except looks-wise (yeah, she was smokin'). Not only did she have some iffy points when acting, but she also didn't seem like the Evelyn from the first two. She didn't feel like a chick who has been on two adventures fighting mummies before. However, once the adventure started, I began to like her more and more. There was one actress I was annoyed by, Isabella Leong. Her character's name is Lin, and she just didn't act very well at all. I guess it fits the "fun, B-movie-ish" style of the film, but her acting just bugged me. Not enough to overpower the fun of the film, though.
So yeah, just don't expect some mind-blowing feat with this film. It has great eye-candy, and is just a hell of a lot of fun. The movie is just under 2 hours, but it flew by. It felt short, and that's probably because it was so much fun.

What? It Just Wasn't Good To Me At All. You were taking it too seriously. It was meant to be anything mindblowing.
