The Other Reason I'm Not Listening To People Is Because I've Heard A Bunch Of People Didn't Like The Second But I Loved The Second. I loved the second, too. I'm still going to see it, it still looks good. All this means is that my expectations are super low, now. That's a good thing. I am not bias either way. Exactly. Critics aren't a reason to not see something if you want to see it, bu they are a good way to judge how you will feel about it, and a good way to decide where to set your expectations. Well said.

The movie looks OK from the trailers, but that RT score is really bad. The first two films at least had as many good critical reviews as bad(they're 53% and 47% respectively)
I don't base my film tastes entirely on what the critics says, but they do have some merit in the case that a film gets either superlative praise(like WALL-E ;D) or universal scorn(like this).
I might go see it if I'm mega-bored this weekend but I'll have to keep my expectations really low.

It's not at 0% anymore on RT, it's at 12%. That's... not as bad ;D

MovieMan, this cracked me up: You should have expected a fun action movie when going into The Mummy 3. Nothing more, nothing less

This is my review from CMF. Heh.
'The best way I can put this movie is that it is like the Indiana Jones 4 of The Mummy movies. To me, it felt like a complete departure from the other two movies, it was more than likely because of it being based in China rather then Egypt. This isn't bad really, it's just different overall. Fraser gives a standard performance, nice but nothing excellent, while I was a bit disappointed with Maria Bello, I much more preferred Rachel Weisz's take on the character. Luke Ford did good as Alex, but the character overall was a bit grating on my nerves. The music and scenery wasn't really all that impressive either. I did like, however, the turning away from Imhotep, I was starting to get tired of his character, and the different abilities and such that the character Emperor Han brought. Overall, even though I was a bit disappointed in the movie, I say that if you are a fan of the previous Mummy movies and the trailer interests you, then go ahead and see it.'

I Did, But I Just Couldn't Like It. It Might Be Because I Kept Comparing It To The The First Two And How Did You Find My Post On IMDb?

I Did, But I Just Couldn't Like It. It Might Be Because I Kept Comparing It To The The First Two And How Did You Find My Post On IMDb? I'm on the same board. It's just funny that you expected something more than you should have. It's just supposed to be a fun flick, nothing special.

It's Mainly Just Because I Was Comparing It To The First Two, I May Rent It When It Comes Out On DvD Or Watch It Online And Try Not To Compare Them.
I'm On The Watchmen Board Right Now.

Definitely don't compare it to the other Mummy's. It's still a Mummy movie, but since the story changes largely, you shouldn't compare it.

They definitely can't/shouldn't be compared.

Once Again I'm Going To Watch It Again And Try Not To. But Still, I Don't Think My Rating Will Go Up To Much If I Do, Maybe 1 Or 2.

Dude, why do you keep saying this doesn't have a mummy in it? It obviously does.

Maybe it's like "there is no spoon". He's trying to control the mummy by realizing it doesn't actually exist!

Well Not The Tradtional Mummy, A Mummy To Me Is Someone That Was Wrapped Up In Gauze And Was Stuck In A (Whatever You Call It, I Just Forgot).
