I liked the end, when the feature presentation finally begins... I'm kidding. I do like the end though

I was cracking up when Alec went crazy when Presto smashed the carrot. Ditto; it seems like I'm the only one in the theater to laugh at that. In addition, I actually like the moment in the beginning when the magician takes Alec out of the cage, and Alec reaches for the carrot that is out of reach. I like it for two reasons though: 1. Alec's whimper is very cute, and ... 2. I love the way the animation looks at that instant. Take a look again. For some reason the animation looks a lot like the animation in Who Framed Roger Rabbit?.

Another part I enjoyed was also in the beginning when Alec is reaching for the carrot and then jumps up and down (causing the cage to do the same).

Hey, I get to see this again on the big screen when I go to see WALL-E tomorrow too. What, what, what? Is your theater still showing Wall-E, Midgard? You lucky duck. I must have the lamest theater known to man.

Yeah, they dropped it for about a week, then I checked again just on a whim, and it was showing again.

Yeah I have two really good ones within a 30 minute drive in two different directions, so I can usually find what I want.

Well, I would love to see Wall-E and Presto on the big screen again, but no dice. The DVD can't come soon enough.

Yeah it seems more people than not are in that situation. It's sad considering how much demand there is for it to be back in theaters. Considering they still have almost 3 months until release on DVD, I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't get a second release (I've seen it before with Superman Returns getting another chance after it was pulled from most theaters) to build up hype and make some more cash.

Well, I'm pretty sure it'll be in our "cheap" theaters soon . . . I'm hoping I might get one more shot at seeing it on a big screen -- even if will be pretty scratchy. *hope, hope, hope*
