We're being outnumbered! I'm being bombarded with testosterone!! AAAAHH!!!! What is it!? Do you men like...go out and recruit each other or something??? lol
J/k. I think it's great there are so many guys here. I'm so used to females being the dominant gender on forums. But mabye that's because I used to spend way too much time on the Daniel Radcliffe forums...

Yeah, it has to be the Daneil Radcliffe thing, hehe, this forum's male-to-female ratio is actually much more proportioned than I'm used to, when we only have like 20 out of 3K members on CMF. ;D

Sorry for the stupid question, but which forum is CMF?

www.cloverfieldmovieforum.com/Forum I Co-Admin at, we're affiliated with them (well, if we ever get the affiliate button plugin working over there again, that is!) It does make sense that a forum for a giant monster movie attracts more guys than a forum for a robot sci-fi romance story, but it's still a nice change of pace.

Hey, this ratio is nothing compared to GameFAQs. They had a poll to see how many males vs. females there were...it turned out 5% were female. This then caused people to say, "Wow, I can't believe 5% of users on GameFAQs lied about their gender."
I'm glad we have a more balanced ratio than that here. In my experience, too much testosterone tends to breed stupidity. (Hopefully the other males here won't take too much offense to that, because I'm male too.)

No offense taken here, I agree completely.

Well, predominantly female groups can have their own issues. Personally, I'd rather be in a "stupid" group than in one with lots of "smart" women playing emotional blackmail games . . . No offence meant, ladies. Memories of high school are still pretty raw after 20 years.

Yeah, I've been on both sides, as a guy amongst guys, and as a guy amongst smart women who made me one of "their own". I generally get along much better with smart women than I do with testosterone driven guys, but the "game playing" is certainly one of my least favorite things about my female friends, and women in general.

You think that's bad? Almost all of the forums I've been on in the past have had a 100% - 0% male-female ratio... There was only one forum where we had 98% - 2% (I think 1% actually passed away [literally] at some point) I remember a friend and I once created an account posing as a female... you won't believe how many PM's we got trying to get to know the character we had created... guys trying to get to know us-- whoo us--- stuff like that. Ofcourse, the creepy thing is... we wrote back... as girls... At the forum I currently mod (you can tell nothing happens in my section, as I'm here all the time ), there is only one female and she is the Administrator's girlfriend. She doesn't really post though.
