Who would win in a fight? Neither Eve nor Luke can butt in, it's a one on one'r. I say WALL-E will use that laser he had to cut open the refrigerator to roast R2's circuits.

I dunno, R2D2 has all sorts of toys, I'd probably vote R2D2.

I'd say that if Wall-E had a good reason (like saving a life or something), he'd probably cut R2D2 in half. But mostly I just wanted to vote for Wall-E so he'd be in the lead!

Haha, same. Let's put it this way: if R2D2 could be considered inanimate, i.e. his distinct personality was taken away, would WALL-E be able to win? I think so. Does D2 have any laser type attachments? I'm not a big enough Star Wars fan to know. I mostly just posted these because we have similar vs. polls over at CMF and I wanted to see how well they'd do here.

Pulled this from Wiki
"R2 has often been a "box of tricks" for the protagonists, including many apparatti and manipulators. Some of his gadgets include a taser, a gripping tool, a computer interface, and a periscope. This "box of tricks" image was parodied by Star Wars Spoofs with an image of R2 featuring such items as a popcorn machine and a bottle opener plus other traditional pocket knife items. In the original trilogy, R2 has a very strict set of tools, using some, such as his computer interface arm, far more than others. This set was expanded afterward in the prequel trilogy, adding jets, oil spray, and more. The films were criticized by a few viewers in that they exploited R2 as a method getting out of any situation."

Hmm, a taser wouldn't be good, provided it had similar power to the electrical jolt that AUTO used on WALL-E.

But if he combined the oil spurt with his rockets, he could ignite Wall-E and send him burning. hehe.

Wall-E has more personality and has better tastes. He has a great purpose while R2D2 only has a bunch of toys and he hangs out with an hyprocrite robot. Oh, and he does'nt have a girlfrined or pet... no he has a pet: C-3PO

I had to say R2D2. Wall-E doesn't seem much of a fighter, although he has that wicker laser. I know R2 has that taser gadget, but he must be packing something else.

I vote WALL-E because I think creativity and imagination counts for more than firepower in any kind of sci fi war, and I just don't see R2D2 as having a lot of those qualities.

I think R2D2 would win in a fight. I prefer WALL-E overall (even though I also love R2D2), but I don't think he can win against R2D2.

I think WALL-E would be able to shoot R2 from a distance. And even if he didn't have the firepower to win, I think WALL-E would be able to outsmart him.
